Pricing
Prices on the page, not behind a form.
Seats are counted once, in SCM — per seat, minimum two. Everything else is a switch the customer’s
own administrator turns on and off. Party screening is its own switch, priced at zero.
How the price is built
The base
Per seat, minimum two
A flat monthly fee for each person at the desk, covering hosting, maintenance,
updates and standard support. No fee per shipment, per document or per login. Seats are counted
once — in SCM, not again in every system that is switched on.
Everything else
A switch, per company
Each system and each extension is a switch the customer’s own administrator turns on
and off, priced per company rather than per person. Only the switches that are on are billed. A switch
that is off has no menus and no line on the invoice.
Party screening
Priced at zero. The law requires the check and the consolidated list is free
government data. There is nothing here for CBMGO to charge for.
Billed on use
Customs filings, and tracking above the volume included with the switch. Each has a
stated rate on the quotation, and a monthly minimum per filing type.
Storage
The first 20 GB of documents and photographs is included. Beyond that it is sold in
blocks, at a rate on the quotation.
Set-up
Stated per switch, once. Onboarding includes four hours of training and one visit to
the customer’s office.
Term and renewal
Set out on the quotation. Either party gives sixty days’ written notice before
a renewal.
Leaving
Every field held in the system exports as CSV. No continuing licence is required to read
the archive.
The lineWhat it means on the bill
Seats — per seat, minimum two
The charge is per seat, and it is charged once. Seats live in SCM and two is the
floor. QMS, ABI, WMS, Portal and the extensions are priced per company, not per head, so the eighth
person costs one seat and nothing else. The customer’s own administrator adds and removes them.
Switches, on and off
Fourteen switches. The bill follows the switch the month it moves, and a system that is off
has no menus rather than greyed-out ones — with the single exception published on the
limits page. Nothing here is an annual bundle bought to unlock one screen.
Party screening — priced at zero
Its own switch, priced at zero, and it stays at zero. The law requires the check and the
list is free government data. Charging for a legal obligation would only encourage offices to leave it off.
Customs filings and tracking — by use
Customs filings, and tracking above the volume set in the quotation, are billed by usage at
the rate written there. Both carry a cost to CBMGO per event, so pricing them into a flat fee would mean the
quiet desks paying for the busy ones.
Cloud storage — first 20 GB included
Twenty gigabytes of documents come with the subscription. Beyond that it is charged at the
rate on the quotation. Most desks never reach it; a CFS scanning every delivery receipt will.
Set-up and term
The Portal has a one-time set-up and then no monthly line. Any other set-up work and the
length of the term are written on the quotation before signature, not discovered later. Turning a switch
on carries no fee of its own.
Renewal — 60 days’ written notice
A customer that does not wish to renew gives CBMGO written notice 60 days before the renewal
date. On the way out every field held in the system exports as CSV, and no live licence is needed to
read the archive.
The extensions
The seven extensions are switches like everything else. What is not printed in the table
above is quoted with the rest of it, in writing, before anything is signed.
The total comes out of the demo.
In the last five minutes of the call, CBMGO opens its own quotation tool, ticks the
switches the customer has said it would use, enters the number of people at the desk, and the price
comes out there and then. The customer leaves the call with it in writing.
There is no follow-up call whose only purpose is to state the price, and no form to
fill in before a number is given.
Why the number is not on this page.
Because the accurate figure depends on two things not yet known: how many people sit at
the desk, and which switches will in fact be turned on. A single figure would describe either a
different company or a starting-from number that means nothing. CBMGO prefers to price the customer’s
configuration on the call and hand over the written quotation.
